Jejuri - Religious Places

Taking one day trip with Nature's routes to the stunning city of Jejuri with your family is an unforgettable experience. The city is located in the Indian state of Maharashtra and is known for its religious temples and scenic beauty. Her rich culture and heritage make it a great place to explore with your family.

In December, we went to Jejuri, and a huge crowd was in the temple. We waited in the queue for an hour to seek blessings at the Khandoba temple. But when you go to the temple, you feel blessed and happy.

The best way to get to Jejuri from Pune or Mumbai is by car. You can also travel by train from Pune and Mumbai. It is near Pune. It takes about 3 hours from Mumbai city, and on this route, you can see many places like Mulshi Dam and Tamhini Ghat. Once you reach Jejuri, you will be able to visit some famous religious temples like Khandoba Temple, Jyotiba Temple, and Bhuleshwar Temple. Khandoba Temple is the main temple there. You can also explore the local market for souvenirs or take a leisurely stroll while enjoying the beauty of the city. The total cost of the trip depends on your transportation route.

My one-day trip to Jejuri was nothing short of extraordinary. The spiritual ambience of the Khandoba Temple, the stunning views from the hilltop, the tantalizing local cuisine, and the enchanting legends of the Giant's Footprints made it an unforgettable experience. I left Jejuri with a heart full of gratitude and a desire to return someday to immerse myself once again in its mystical charm. If you're ever in Maharashtra, I highly recommend taking a day trip to Jejuri – a hidden gem waiting to be explored.

Relax on your way back home, reminiscing about the captivating sights and experiences of the day.
