Pelling is surrounded by snow-capped mountains, ancient forests and rivers. In recent years, Pelling has rapidly emerged as a popular tourist destination.

Some famous tourist spots in Pelling include Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabadantse Relics, New Helipad Ground and Skywalk.

Pemayangtse Monastery: This ancient monastery is one of the oldest and most significant in Sikkim. It offers a glimpse into the rich Buddhist culture of the region and boasts intricate sculptures and paintings. Established in 1640, it is one of the oldest monasteries in the region. 


Rabdentse Ruins: Once the capital of the Kingdom of Sikkim, these ruins are now an archaeological site. You can explore the remnants of the palace and the chortens, surrounded by lush greenery. The remains of Rabdantse are the remains of the capital of the erstwhile State of Sikkim.
