Daulatabad Fort, also known as the "Fort of Devagiri", is a hidden gem located in Sambhaji nagar, Maharashtra. This fort was built by the Yadava family in the 13th century and later it was conquered by the Delhi Sultanate. After this, the fort was renamed Daulatabad i.e. "City of Prosperity".

The fort has a double fortification and a moat in the wall. The outer wall is 11 meters high and the inner wall is 22 meters high. There are also three entrances, two at the bottom of the hill and one at the top.

There are entrances at the bottom and top of the hill and the bastions are in the entire fort. There are two enchanting lakes on the fort, chand minar, five-storey bastions and a small palace. The palace has a central hall with large chambers, a courtyard and a garden. The main attractions of Daulatabad Fort are the magnificent walls and embankments, grand doors and the grand Chand Minar. Chand Minar is a five-storey tower that is believed to have been built by Alauddin Khilji. It stands high at the highest point of the fort and gives an excellent view of the entire fort. Other attractions include the palaces and temples of various rulers who ruled the fort.
